The best-used junkyards

Used junkyards are the best solution for getting auto parts.  In fact, many mechanics tend to go to these places looking for parts. These are parts that are hard to even get at your local car dealer.

These parts are used, but sometimes they are even better than new parts. I say that because the parts most of the time come from brand new cars. For example, there was an accident at 441 state road 7. The car was completely crashed. The insurance decided to declare the car totaled, but the crash affected only the front of the vehicle.

The damaged parts of the vehicle did not affect the parts of the car that what I was looking for. So the car ended up at my lot. It was delivered by one of the drivers. I set up an appointment and went to the car lot to find the car.  The driveshaft was brand new as if it was a 2021 car.

What to look for when buying a used junk car

I saw that it was the same part I needed. I ended up paying $60.00 for the part.  My client was happy. The takeaway from this is that sometimes you might get lucky and find rare auto parts that you are searching for.

I also had a BMW X5 that needed an AC Controller. Controllers are very common to fry sooner because they are very fragile. If they fry early, you will not have Hot or cold AC because the unit gets damaged very quickly. 

I say try your luck with used junk yards. I always say this saying when searching through the rubble: Trash or Treasure. Some of these cars are brand new.  They just came out of the dealer when unexpectedly they crash. So next time you buy brand new auto parts, make sure to check the used junk yards because you might just find your treasure.
